Well mostly because beta 1 had a source rpm and the tarball doesn't include a spec file. I'd rather build an rpm and install that on whatever machines I need to.

There's a tarball but where is the src rpm? I need to build rpms on x86_64/? The beta1 src rpm worked well (after a little tweaking)
