Now the problem... when i execute the command to start i see the following:

root@pco06:~# cd /opt/ibm/iSeriesAccess/bin
root@pco06:/opt/ibm/iSeriesAccess/bin# ibm5250
ibm5250: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

but i have this library on /usr/X11R6/lib, why doesn't it work?

libXm.so.3 is OpenMotif 2.2.3. There are also libXm.so.2 (OM 2.1.30) and libXm.so.4 (beta of OM 2.3).

Your application is calling for OpenMotif 2.2.3 and can't find it. I suspect that you have the wrong version installed.

Hi,

i've had the same problem Ottavio had, and like him i got libXm.so.3 in usr/X11R6/X11 directory but when i try to run client access for linux i'm still getting the same message. I just installed Openmotif 2.2.3 cause it's the last stable version, but i didn't solve my problem. Any advise?

Thanks

PS: anyone else trying to find out how to use linux and a 5250 emulator (a decent one)?
