XMotif SelectionBoxWidget GCC3.3 problem

I have a problem with XmSelectionBoxWidget running under GCC3.3.
When I click on a value in the dropdown, the value is not automatically populated in the internal textfield widget. Sometimes the value is written to the textfield, but sometimes it is not.
This works fine under GCC 2.95.
Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Which version of OM are you using? What distro?

I have confirmed that this is an issue with Motif and NOT gcc3.3 as I originally posted.

The problem occurs with OM 2.1 and a Solaris distribution.

It works fine with OM 1.2 and Solaris.
