Thanks a lot. Please refer to my thread dtd 03/18/01. Will you tell me the exact location of demos directory? Is it on the system or on this homepage?

Sort of neither. It is part of the Motif sources and usually also of the installation. In this case, when you unpack Motif, look for the directory
motif/demos/programs/hellomotifi18n/ . In it you`ll find a README file describing the several languages (French and Swedish, too!) handled, plus information on how to demonstrate the program.
