When I configured, I ran 'configure --prefix=/home/mfort/openmotif'.
I figure it is something obvious to a seasoned FreeBsd person, like imake or autoconf not working correctly, but am new to FreeBsd. I tried a couple 2.3 versions and the problem is the same as with the 2.2.3 (currently the stable build for 2.2). All help is greatly appreciated.
