how do i created toolbars in motif, any special widget available
like linux toolbars ... i should be able to place it anywhere in the application
and shrink them and so on.
any code if available.

I dont' think there is a widget available...
I don't think that there is a Motif Widget available. However, there are two options and I did a little bit of both. I found a Motif toolbar object on the net at a random site and then modified it to do what I wanted it to do. You could search the net for what you are needing or simply create a class (C++) to do what you need to do.

Several times I have needed to do something and I have found on the net where someone has already done it or given me a good start.
